As hubs was still having off days before his night shift, we decided to have an early birthday celebration today instead of doing it on his actual birthday(17 June) when he will be working.
sleeping on the way there, surrounded by her toys, hanky and nappy(which acts as a thin blanket)
As dinner was to be held at Marina Square, we headed there earlier for some shopping since it's GSS :) Mainly, it was shopping for chubs' stuffs as she had outgrown many of her clothes and we had to buy some new ones.
This "couch" was found in one of the baby shops - it's made entirely of styrofoam and can really support a child's weight due to the 4 pillars supporting the seat. Chubs seemed to like sitting there :)
In the same shop, we found a pair of shades meant for babies/toddlers too - doesn't she look cool?!
Dinner was at Suki-ya at Marina Square. It was a Japanese shabu-shabu buffet and as hubs and I had been there before at a recommendation of Bryan and found the food there nice, he decided to bring his family there too. Everyone found the food nice and healthy too(as with most Japanese food), and the price was also rather reasonable. Poor chubs could only watch and salivate and contend with her milk. She was staring at our food(esp the cake) and seemed really interested!
A nice family portrait - look at how chubs is staring at the cake?
And more staring ...
A last lingering look at the yummy Mango cake from Jack's Place(courtesy of XY)
Got home and changed her into a new sleepwear I got a week ago - so cute!
Goodnight!
