Hubs' birthday! (Long post ahead!)

As it's hubs' actual birthday today, he took leave today just to get a breather from work. We decided to have lunch with his mum and baby at Swensen's as we can enjoy a free Firehouse and also because they have really attractive lunch offer(1-1).

Chubs wearing an outfit Nai nai bought in Malacca - she looks so grown up like that!

Daddy and daughter looking on as other kids were on kiddy rides - forgot to take photos while we put chubs in one of them. She looked happy to be sitting there and wanted to "eat" the mouse(a passenger on the kiddy ride)!

After lunch, we went back to his mum's place and dropped them off. I stayed put at his mum's place as I had work to do for XY. Hubs went off for coffee with his friends, Kaixu and Terence, at Sengkang to kill time while I work.

After his coffee session, he came back for me as we had agreed to go out for a birthday dinner. I had  arranged for a surprise birthday dinner with his longtime friends(from pri sch - poly days) at Ministry of Steak at Serangoon Gardens. While we were looking for a parking lot there, he became a tad frustrated as SG is notorious for lots shortage especially during mealtimes. He wanted to just buy takeaways and go to his colleague's place for World Cup. Cut long story short, I did manage to convince him to go for dinner as originally planned and he was pleasantly surprised I managed to get so many people there for his big 30 dinner. I'm so glad I pulled it off.

After dinner, we went back home to cut the cake and to watch the World Cup as well. It was a good catching up session as well and some of us mummies just went on and on about our children. Hehe ...

The folks(minus Kaixu and Venetia who couldn't make it to our house) who helped me make all this happen.

Thanks dear friends!
