As my parents only see chubs once a week, they'd love to see her as early as possible on Sundays so they can spend more time with her. We had breakfast at my grandma's void deck and dropped by her place thereafter.
Chubs has recently learnt how to stand on her feet(with help from us) and loves doing that every now and then. She's not contented with only standing, she loves to bend her knees and hop as well. So grandma brought out an "antique" walker for chubs.
My grandma - chubs' great-grandma playing with chubs
The walker that chubs is in is rather old and has been around for yeeeears. Heard from my grandma it might even be around for 10 odd years! All of us grandchildren spent a sustantial amount of time at grandma's during our early years and she has managed to keep and maintain this walker that has been passed down from one grandchild to another. Given the age, I must say it's in rather good condition!
Judging from grandma's smile in the picture above, I'd say she's having a good time with chubs :) Chubs is grandma's first great-grandchild and has made her very proud - many of her friends around her are already great-grandparents before chubs came along and grandma yearned to be one too! Now that chubs has arrived(4 months and counting), grandma is one happy great-grandma! I'm really glad to have given grandma a great-grandchild while she's still around so she can enjoy the experience of being a great-grandparent. I love my grandma to bits.
After spending an hour or so there, my parents decided to drop by AMK town centre to get a silver anklet for chubs since she has now learned to stand(with help from us of course). According to customs, the maternal grandpa is supposed to get an anklet for baby before/when she starts crawling so we know where she is by listening to the "ling-ling-long-long" of the bells attached to the anklet.

The new anklet!
Ending off this post with a sweet photo:
Chubs: Gonggong love love!
