The long-awaited jab day is finally here. It was supposed to be on 30th April but since chubs had a lil' bit of runny nose, it was postponed to today. This is Part II of her 5-in-1. Let's hope for less crying this time round.
Preparation for her trip to the clinic:
Nainai showering her and "strangling" her in the process
All wrapped up!
Seating comfortably in her hand-me-down stroller
At the clinic:
Weighing in at 7.1 kgs
Measuring 66 cm
Measuring circumference of head
"talking" to her new found friend(notice both of them wearing the EXACT same pair of socks??)
captivated by a hanging toy above her
My MIL refused to go into the consultation room with me because she said she can't bear to see chubs cry. And cry, she did! I was holding both her hands and talking to her when she suddenly burst out crying(with her whole face red) at the top of her lungs. That's when I knew the jab has gone in. Without even buttoning her romper, the nurse asked me to quickly carry and comfort her. The moment I held her in my arms, she stopped crying instantly. Phew! That was easy!
While waiting for payment and arranging for our next appointment, she became rather grouchy and cried intermittently. Once we got outta the clinic and her into the pram, she calmed down and started to doze off. Overall this jab trip to the clinic was much better than I'd expected it to be. Good job chubs!
xoxo
