Saturday at Marina Square

Early this morning around 8ish, Hubs decided to go have breakfast at LJS at J8 after being woken up by our early bird. Having tried their breakfast a couple of weeks ago, we found it rather yummy and decided on it again. Chubs was rather active and did not sleep through out our breakfast like the previous visit so we had to take turns to eat and take care of her.

After breakfast, we went out again around 1ish to go shop at Marina Square. Aunty Pat very kindly redeemed between $200-$300 worth of vouchers for us to shop for baby stuffs at Mothercare and Fox Baby. Shopped for a bit at Fox Baby and only managed to get a skirt and a pair of socks for chubs.

On to Mothercare next. We really like their PJs there and decided on a set of 3 (12-18 mths) at $59.90 and another set of 7 long-sleeved rompers at $49.90. Though their PJs are rather ex, they are really worth it! Their material is soft and comfortable plus it covers chubs from neck to toe without her having to wear separates (thereby risking her taking her pants off in the middle of the night - she did it once!) and worry about socks coming off too.



After the shopping, we met my family for dinner at Suki-Ya and chubs fell asleep just before we start our dinner and woke up just after dinner. Perfect timing! Actually she was feeling rather restless and was unable to sleep on her own before dinner but Hubs worked his magic by bringing her out of the restaurant and coaxing her to sleep so we could all enjoy our dinner in peace. I am actually looking forward to the day when chubs will be able to join us at the table and enjoy the food together. Soon, soon!
