All for the rice

Along the way home today, we tabao fried rice for Hubs who have yet to have dinner. Upon reaching home and settling down, he proceeded to have his dinner. After his first bite, along came a little imp who lingered around him, peppering him with the sweetest smiles, and even flashing(!) her torso... all for a little taste of the fried rice. We refused to give it to her but with her sweet gestures and 'peaceee', we gave in and Hubs fed her a little of the rice. Happy with what she's gotten, the little imp sat down beside Hubs and suddenly became all chummy with Hubs, lying against him and chillaxing together... all for another helping of the rice.

Hubs: "So.. what tricks can you perform for a spoonful of fried rice?"

Little imp:"Oh come on... we're such chums!"

Anything for food...

Post note: This is our 4th year anniversary and since we are not big on the wedding anniversary's celebration, there wasn't anything planned. Just the 3 of us hanging out together is good enough for me :)

Happy 4th Year Wedding Anniversay, My Dear Hubs!

Pianist in the making

As we have a family dinner with my in-laws' extended family at the new Punggol Waterfront area, Auntie Angela invited us to go hang out at her place (near the dinner place) pre-dinner. Once there, we decided to let Ash have a go at Grace's piano. She seemed to really love it! Probably because it's something new to her, she couldn't get her hands off it! Without coaching from us, she knew the way to playing the piano and kept pressing on different keys, even those that are difficult to reach. AND... she even stopped playing mid-way to turn the score book! Hahaha... that really tickled all of us because without any prompting from us, she's actually playing the piano like a real pro!

Seems like the size of the HD video from my camera is too big to upload here, will try to see if I'm able to downsize it and upload it again.

Would definitely love to share the video clip with all of you so stay tuned!

Btw, in case you're wondering, we went for dinnar the Xian Seafood Restaurant at Punggol Waterfront. I wouldn't recommend you trying the food  during peak hours because food is so-so but service is lousy. They kept forgetting our orders (even though we ordered way before the crowd) and the entire affair was a hot, stuffy, expensive one which we would not want to repeat.
