Spending time at Great-grandma's - as she'd just started walking, she wasn't confident and we had to entice her to make her walk on her own

When we were at my grandma's, we tried to make her walk on her own to show my grandma using her favourite fruit: apple. She had her hand on the coffee table and just tried stretching to reach the apple. When she realised she couldn't reach it, she took a few steps forward, forgetting for a moment she had let go of the table for support. When she almost reached the apple, she turned around only to her there's no support around her and she began to panic. Haha... so cute! My bro immediately went forward to lend her a little support and gave the apple to her as a reward.

So right now we are getting her to build up confidence of walking on her own :)

A day out in Orchard Road

Felt like going shopping in town today (haven't done that in ages!) and got Hubs to bring us there. Dressed Ash up and I like her outfit today!

Due to me being converted to a permanent staff in this company, I was to go to KL for training from 16th to 18th Jan. ALONE. First time on a business trip and away on my own (study trip not counted). Scarrry!  MIL, Aunt Pat, Hubs and Ash sent me to the airport:

Between Ash's first birthday and now, she has started to take unsteady, baby steps even though she started cruising along few months back. Here she is, strolling along with the help of Daddy and "saying hello" to a passer-by:

Learnt how to blow the toy trumpet today and was rather fascinated by it. Been teaching her how to suck from a straw but yet to master... Hopefully she'll get it soon!
